In this release, we’re excited to launch one of the most requested features in Spoonful history: Swaps! We know how frustrating it can be to scan product after product and not be met with a green result. Now, the next time you get a yellow or red scan, tap the Spoonful icon and our top recommended green swaps are on the way!
Note: This feature is in beta and will be free for a limited time only. Try it out, and let us know what you think! We’ll be making tweaks to our recommendation algorithm as we go, so feedback is highly encouraged.
How it works
After you update to the latest version of the app, you’ll notice a circular Spoonful icon at the bottom right-hand corner of red and yellow scans. To see swaps for this product, just tap the icon and 5 green products will load.
Within each recommended swap, you’ll notice a small green circle with a white number in it. That’s our confidence score. It quantifies how close of a match we believe that product is to the one you scanned. The higher the score, the more confident we are that we’ve found your perfect swap!
Sending feedback
If you’re pleased with the results, be sure to tap the thumbs up icon. If you think we could have done better, tap thumbs down, and let us know your thoughts in the message box. Again, we can’t stress enough how important your feedback is to improving the quality of results. We’ll be looking through each thumbs down note to see how we can improve.
